Ballpark idea floated for downtown

The Grand Rapids Business Journal is reporting Rockford Companies CEO John Wheeler has revealed a proposal to build a ballpark downtown which could house the West Michigan Whitecaps. Wheeler discussed the proposal at a morning session of the University of Michigan Urban Land Institute Real Estate Forum being held at the Amway Grand Plaza Hotel.
